love notes
from past clients

- Jessica & Alexis

"We had found her on Instagram and loved her portrait style photos, eye for detail, color choices, and angles, and are thrilled we went with her! Jenn was SO easy to work with-- incredibly responsive/communicative, so friendly (and stealth-like during the event!), and takes awesome photos. She understood our vision (industrial setting, low-key with some traditional elements), and was comfortable giving suggestions and direction when we needed it. Another review mentions that she is "professional without being stuffy," and we feel the same way...plus, has a sense of humor! (Also, LGBTQ friendly!)"

Jenn is fun to work with! She has done personal photographs and I hired her to shoot the moment I proposed to my fiancé. She is very interactive with her clients and makes photoshoots an enjoyable experience. With a variety of creative ideas from poses to humor to get that perfect blue steel she envisions, Jenn is the best photographer for moments you want to share with friends and family forever!

"Endless memories!"

- Peter & Liz

I reached out to Jenn to shoot my proposal at Jay Peak Resort in Vermont. She drove to the resort the night before so she could scope out good spots before my fiancé and I arrived. When it came time for the proposal, I texted her saying that we were going to be at the top of the lift in about 15 minutes. When we got off the lift, I asked if she could take a picture with us. Jenn played it off and mentioned she’s actually a photographer with her own camera. My fiancé was taken by surprise and we had an entire shoot after. The photos came out beautiful. We couldn’t be happier with the whole experience and will hire her for our engagement shoot as well.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

01

Style is incredibly important - it will determine your expectations being met when receiving your gallery. Symula Media Group is an editorial and true to color photographer. You will not get light and airy photos - you will receive a true to color style. You can look at photos and when you see 'sepia' or warmer tinted photos, you're looking at the temperature of the photo. The more cool a photo is, the more bluer tones you'll get, and the more warm a photo is, the more yellow/orange/red tones. Look at the colors, temperatures, the poses, the feelings the photos give you when you look at more than just social media (galleries).

will i have full ownership of my photos?

02

You will have the right to share your photos (digitally, socially etc.) for personal use, attribution to the Symula Media Group whenever possible/always, however you will not have full ownership of the photos.

how long is the average turnaround for a gallery?

03

You can expect 6-8 weeks for your gallery to be returned if there is a high volume of photos (i.e. wedding or event), but smaller sessions you can expect a 3-5 week turnaround.

what if there is bad weather for our session?

04

We can reschedule for a later date that works! Or we can work through the weather - whatever you want.

how far in advance do i need to book you?

05

It depends on what you're booking for! For weddings I receive inquiries for dates usually within 6-1 year out, give or take; portrait sessions are currently booking out 3+ weeks. We'd recommend you book as soon as you have a date you know you're requesting!
